Pontós, Feb 28 (EFE).- In the Girona town of Pontós in Spain, Catalan farmers continued to block several major roads, including the AP-7 motorway, for the second day in a row on Wednesday. This important road, which serves as the main land connection between Spain and France, remains blocked between Borrassà and Vilademuls. Other roads affected are the N-II between Bàscara and Vilamalla and the N-152 at Puigcerdà, all strategically chosen to interrupt border crossings in the province of Girona. The farmers' protest focuses on issues related to imports, bureaucracy and water management, and the demonstrators are hoping for a response to their demands. (Camera: EFE).
