Spain and Morocco go to the second phase of reopening the border in Ceuta and Melilla

Castillejos (Morocco), May 31 (EFE), (Camera: María Traspaderne).- A hundred Moroccan workers demonstrated this Tuesday in the town of Castillejos, bordering Ceuta, demanding that they be allowed to enter the Spanish city without the need of a visa, as it happened two years ago before the last closure of the border.

The protest occurs coinciding with the second phase of the opening of the crossings between Morocco and the Spanish cities of Ceuta and Melilla, in North Africa, which had been closed for two years due to the pandemic and the diplomatic crisis between the two countries.
