Spain loses gold on penalties

Fukuoka (Japan), Jul 28 (EFE) - (Camera: Francisco Ávila) The Spanish water polo team lost on penalties to the Netherlands in the final of the women's tournament, in a match that ended 12-12. The Dutch were successful in all five penalties they took, with Spain missing through Bea Ortiz.

Spain already won silver at the 2019 World Cup in Gwangju. The silver is the eighth medal for the Spanish delegation.
