Sony Group Corp. posts 16% sales growth for fiscal year 2022 | Video

Tokyo, Apr 28 (EFE/EPA).- On Friday, Sony Group Corp, the Tokyo-based multinational giant, released its financial results for fiscal year 2022, which began in April 2022 and ended in March 2023. The company reported a solid 16% increase in group sales compared to the previous year, totalling ¥11.5 trillion (approximately €76 billion).

The impressive sales growth can be attributed to strong performances in several of the company's segments, including its gaming, electronics and entertainment divisions. Sony's popular PlayStation video game console, along with strong demand for its services and digital content, played a major role in boosting the company's overall revenue.
