Singapore's beloved giant panda makes final public appearance before big move to China

Singapore, Dec 13 (EFE/EPA).- On Wednesday, the famous giant panda made its last public appearance at the Mandai Nature Reserve in Singapore.

This is an important moment as the panda prepares for his move to China.

Since the announcement of his move in September, the exhibit has seen a surge in visitors, with thousands of people coming to say goodbye to the beloved animal.

The panda will go into quarantine as part of his travel preparations.

It is scheduled to leave Singapore's Changi International Airport for Chengdu, China, on January 16, 2024.

The transfer will be carried out on a specially equipped Singapore Airlines Boeing 747-400F freighter, which will ensure a safe and comfortable journey for the cherished animal. (Camera: HOW HWEE YOUNG).
