Simon Harris takes office as Ireland's new prime minister

Dublin (Ireland), Apr 9 (EFE/EPA) - (Camera: Mostafa Darwish) The leader of the Christian Democratic party Fine Gael and new Irish Prime Minister, Simon Harris, took over the reins of the coalition government on Tuesday with the aim of concluding the legislature and avoiding early general elections, despite pressure from the opposition.
