Senators discuss legislation to designate Russia as a state sponsor of terrorism

Washington (US), Sep 14 (EFE), (Camera: Will Oliver).- Democratic Senator Richard Blumenthal and Republican Lindsey Graham presented an initiative on Wednesday to designate Russia as a "State Sponsor of Terrorism" due to to its military operations in Ukraine.

The United States has only designated four nations as state sponsors of terrorism: Iran, Syria, North Korea and Cuba.
