US seeks 'healthy economic relationship' with China, Yellen says

Beijing, Apr 5 (EFE).- US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen met Friday with American, European and Japanese business representatives in China during which she assured that her country wants a "healthy economic relationship" with the Asian giant.

During the meeting in the southeastern Chinese city of Guangzhou, Yellen said the US seeks a “healthy economic relationship with China that provides a level playing field for American workers and businesses,” the Treasury Department said in a statement. (Camera: HANDOUT).
