Scholz visits Dusseldorf

Düsseldorf (Germany), Aug 16 (EFE).- German Chancellor Olaf Scholz visited Düsseldorf today and took part in an event to highlight the importance of the city's "kiosks".

"'Buedchen' have a long tradition in Düsseldorf and the Rhineland. They are important contact points in the city's neighborhoods. By 'shopping around the corner', different people meet and exchange ideas. This strengthens social cohesion especially in big cities," Scholz said.
