German Chancellor Olaf Scholz:

1. "In view of the challenges posed by the Russian war of aggression against Ukraine, we must constantly strengthen the European pillar of our defense and deterrence alliance. And we strongly agree on these issues."

2. "It is also positive that overall support for Ukraine is now broad. Of course, this also includes Finland's decision to provide a new support package, which we very much welcome. Because we are all clear that we have to be prepared for this war to last longer than we would like and, therefore, we are united in support of Ukraine for as long as necessary.

Finnish President Alexander Stubb:

3. "In Finland, we have so far provided aid totaling almost three billion euros to Ukraine, two billion for defense equipment and one billion for development."
