Sales of Muslim clothes soar ahead of Eid al-Fitr in Indonesia

Depok, Apr 4 (EFE/EPA).- Sales of Muslim clothes have soared in Indonesia ahead of the festival of Eid al-Fitr.

According to data from the Indonesian Retail Traders Association, there was a surge in purchases of fashion products, particularly Muslim attire, with increases of up to 37 per cent.

Eid al-Fitr is an Islamic holiday that marks the end of Ramadan, and is celebrated during the first three days of Shawwal, the 10th month of the Islamic calendar. (Camera: ADI WEDA).
