Russia's first Belarusian Ikea-like Swed House shop opens in Russia

Moscow (Russia), Apr 15 (EFE/EPA).- (Camera: Sergei Ilnitsky) The first shop of the Belarusian brand Swed House, an analogue of the Swedish furniture retailer IKEA, has opened in Moscow's Schelkovsky shopping and entertainment centre.

The shop presents items produced in-house, as well as analogues of the Swedish brand.

The Swedish multinational Ikea withdrew from the Russian market in 2022, in the framework of the economic sanctions imposed by the West on Russia.
