Russians go to the "Tower of vaccination" during Maslenitsa

Kaluga, Mar 13 (EFE / EPA).- Russian artist Nikolay Polissky exhibited Saturday his creation 'Vaccination Tower', a wooden installation that symbolized Covid-19 vaccine ampoules.

The installation was burned at the end of the evening to mark the second last day of the Maslenitsa (Shrovetide) festival at the Nikola-Lenivets art park.

The Maslenitsa festival, which originates from Slavic mythology, takes place this year from March 8 to 14 and is usually celebrated in the last week before the Great Lent.
