Russian skating champion who went into coma and had to be amputated presents film in Moscow

Moscow (Russia), Mar 6 (EFE/EPA) - (Camera: Yuri Kochetkov) Olympic champion, two-time world champion and three-time Russian and European ice skating champion Roman Kostomarov and his wife presented the film "Roman Kostomarov: Twice Born" in Moscow on Wednesday.

In January 2023, Roman Kostomarov fell into a coma due to an illness, doctors performed several operations on him and were forced to amputate his limbs.

The prognosis for recovery was less than one percent, but he survived.
