Moscow (Russia), Oct 4 (EFE/EPA) - (Camera: Yuri Kochetkov) Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Wednesday that the countries that control the world's currencies, namely the West, are at the head of a "financial pyramid" that does not correspond to the interests of the majority of humanity.

"I really hope that, despite all the current difficulties at the international level, we will finally reach some kind of consensus. Let us not limit ourselves only to the interests of the countries that today lead, so to speak, this financial pyramid," he said on the sidelines of the 3rd International Financial Security Olympiad.
