Russian communists commemorate 30th anniversary of Russian government bombing of Kremlin

Moscow (Russia), Oct 4 (EFE/EPA) - (Camera: Maxim Shipenkov) Dozens of communist sympathisers in Moscow gathered on Wednesday to commemorate the politicians who died in 1993 after Russia's first democratically elected president, Boris Yeltsin, ordered the bombing of the Russian parliament inherited from the USSR to put down the rebellion of the locked-out deputies.

About 150 people died, according to official figures, and about 1,500 according to other sources.
