RSF speaks out against Chinese regime at start of Xi's state visit to France

Paris (France), May 6 (EFE/EPA) - Reporters Without Borders (RSF) organised a protest action in Paris on Monday, one more of those that have come to denounce the repression of the Chinese regime, coinciding with the visit of President Xi Jinping, who was received this morning by his French counterpart, Emmanuel Macron.

The action took place shortly before 8.00 local time (6.00 GMT) at the Arc de Triomphe with an advertising truck on whose box was a giant poster with an image of a toast between Macron and Xi, and the message "119 journalists imprisoned by the Chinese regime".
