Rome cancels New Year's Eve race

Rome, Dec 31 (EFE) .- (Camera: Álvaro Padilla) The mayor of Rome, Roberto Gualtieri, has cancelled the "We Run Rome", which was to be held Friday in the Italian capital and with the participation of about 6,000 runners, following the request of the health authorities due to the increase in coronavirus infections due to the omicron variant.
