Rio de Janeiro stops requiring proof of covid vaccination

Rio de Janeiro, Apr 25, (EFE), (Camera: Janaína Quinet) - Rio de Janeiro, Brazil's second largest city, will no longer require proof of vaccination against covid-19 to enter closed places, its mayor, Eduardo Paes, confirmed Monday.

The measure had been required in the "cidade maravilhosa" since November 12 last year to enter closed establishments or those that generate crowds, such as restaurants, bars, theaters, cinemas, gyms and stadiums, among others.
