Restrictions in Germany due to Lufthansa ground staff and security strikes

Frankfurt (Germany), Mar 7 (EFE/EPA).- (Camera: Christopher Neundorf) The strike by Lufthansa airline ground staff, along with another by security staff at Frankfurt, Hamburg and Düsseldorf airports, is causing significant disruption to air travel in Germany on Thursday.

Frankfurt airport, the country's main airport, warns on its website of the impossibility of boarding flights due to the strike by security staff, and recommends that passengers who start their journey in this city do not go to the aerodrome and contact their airline.

Due to the strike by Lufthansa ground staff, the airline has been forced to cancel 80 to 90 % of scheduled flights across the board.
