Rent prices soar in Tehran | Video

Tehran (Iran), Jun 20 (EFE/EPA).- (Camera: Abedin Taherkenareh) Since the start of the economic crisis that began in May 2022 in Iran, the cost of construction material and housing has increased by almost 300%.

Now, Iranians face a rent crisis, as many landlords have doubled or tripled the price of rental flats in some areas, ISNA news agency reported, despite government recommendations calling for only an increase of 25%.
