Relatives of victims of Beirut port explosion call for truth to be established

Beirut (Lebanon), Jan 23 (EFE/EPA).- (Camera: Wael Hamzeh) Relatives of the victims of the Beirut port explosion on 4 August 2020 carry portraits of their deceased relatives as they attend a protest outside the Palace of Justice in Beirut, demanding that the truth be clarified quickly and calling on judges to conclude the investigation.

An explosion ripped through Beirut's port area, killing at least 200 people and injuring thousands more on 4 August 2020. It is believed to have been caused by some 2,750 tonnes of ammonium nitrate stored in a warehouse.
