Refugees gather for a jug of water in Renk, South Sudan | Video

Renk (South Sudan), May 17 (EFE) - In the middle of the desert, on the border between South Sudan and Sudan, a group of refugees crowd around a fountain to fill a jug of water, a precious commodity in the face of the problems caused by war stress in sanitary infrastructures.

Tanker trucks loaded with water drive through the Renk transit center to distribute drinking water at the various sources set up for the refugees, who are waiting to leave for the Maban refugee camp or the town of Malakal to return to their communities of origin further south.
