Bangkok, May 11 (EFE).- The lucrative business of recreational cannabis, which has made Thailand the marijuana hub of Asia, is one of the issues that most divide parties and voters ahead of the upcoming elections on Sunday.

The priorities of the Thai people lie elsewhere, such as employment, inflation, or tourism recovery. However, the emergence of marijuana shops since the decriminalization of cannabis cultivation in 2022 is an issue with little consensus, with the strongest opposition coming from opposing parties.
