Al Quds Day marches in Beirut suburbs

Beirut (Lebanon), Apr 6 (EFE/EPA) - (Camera: Wael Hamzeh) Al Quds Day is commemorated in the suburbs of Beirut with marches by young scouts of Hezbollah's Imam Al Mahdi.

Al Quds Day was declared in 1979 by Ayatollah Khomeini, founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran, who called on Muslims around the world to show solidarity with the Palestinians on the last Friday of the month of Ramadan.
