UK public healthcare system, the next government's task ahead

London (UK), Jul 1 (EFE) - Who will fix the problems of the NHS? The UK's public health system, once a great national pride, has become one of the biggest headaches for the next government after the July 4 elections.

Citizen satisfaction with its healthcare system has been falling in recent years to derisory levels due to the serious challenges it faces: strikes by resident doctors demanding a 35% pay rise, a shortage of qualified professionals after Brexit, or huge delays in waiting lists.
