EU to provide Ukraine with 1.5 billion euros aid per month

Brussels (Belgium), Oct 21 (EFE) - (Camera: Handout) The European Union (EU) is willing to explore ways to grant about 1.5 billion euros a month to Ukraine so it can finance basic needs while it defends itself from the Russian invasion, said Friday the president of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen.

Von der Leyen also assured that the price of gas is already falling as a result of the agreement that the leaders reached on Thursday to work on "urgent" measures to lower the electricity bill.
