Protests before Chinese embassy in Seoul over N. Korean repatriation

Seoul, May 6 (EFE/EPA).- Activists protested Monday in front of the Chinese embassy in Seoul against the forced repatriation of North Koreans who fled their country, which the Government of Beijing has undertaken since Pyongyang eased its Covid-19 border restrictions.

Dozens of members of organizations such as the National Association of Foster Families gathered at a busy intersection in the Myeongdong neighborhood of the South Korean capital, just 100 meters from the embassy of the People's Republic of China. (Camera: JEON HEON-KYUN).
