Protesters in Philippines call for improved education programs amid COVID-19 pandemic

Quezon City, Apr 16 (EFE/EPA).- Protesters in Philippines Friday called for concrete programs to gradually and safely resume school classes amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

More than a year of online classes due to lockdown restrictions have led to reduced quality of education, increased expenditures on families and rising student dropout rates, said members of student youth group. (Camera: ROLEX DELA PENA).
