Protesters in Mexico demand justice for Claudia Sheinbaum

Mexico City Jun 10 (EFE).- Hundreds gathered to commemorate the 53rd anniversary of the June 10, 1971 student massacre known as 'Halconazo.'

The protesters, led by the Comité 68 Pro Libertades Democráticas, demanded justice and accountability from the incoming president, Claudia Sheinbaum, who won the June 2 election.

The march, retracing the tragic route from Metro Normal to the Zócalo, called for addressing past injustices and ensuring current and future security, criticizing the ongoing use of military forces in public security roles. (Camera: AMÉRICA NERI).
