Protest in Kenya against current state of nation, a proposed Finance Bill

Nairobi (Kenya), Jun 6 (EFE/EPA) - Kenyan social activists and community leaders shout slogans during a protest against the high cost of living in the streets of Nairobi.

According to pressure groups, the protest aims to draw attention to the serious problems currently facing the nation, such as the controversial Finance Bill 2024, the rising cost of living, state-led demolitions and displacement, orchestrated ethnic tensions and rampant police brutality, among other concerns.
