Prostitution criminalization law will begin its passage next week in Congress

New York (US), March 14 (EFE).- The law that criminalizes prostitution in Spain will begin its legislative journey next week when it is presented to Congress as a bill, the Spanish Minister of Equality, Ana Redondo, said today in New York.

STATEMENTS BY THE SPANISH MINISTER OF EQUALITY, ANA REDONDO, IN NEW YORK.

A specific statement regarding the abolition of prostitution. We are, therefore, an abolitionist party and this is a progressive, feminist, abolitionist government. Therefore, the President is right in that impulse, how is that impulse going to be carried out? It is going to be carried out through a bill. It is a proposal which has already been evaluated, which has already been studied and which will be deposited in the Congress of Deputies in the next few days, I believe that next week.
