IRAN ISRAEL PALESTINE

Pro-Palestinian protesters rally in Tehran after Gaza hospital tragedy

Tehran, Oct 18 (EFE/EPA).- Following the devastating Israeli attack on a Gaza hospital, hundreds of pro-Palestinian supporters rallied in front of the British embassy in Tehran, Iran in the early hours of Wednesday.

The rally, intended to express solidarity with the people of Gaza, was in response to reports by Hamas-led authorities that hundreds of people had been killed in the previous day's airstrike.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF), however, disputed these claims, asserting that the tragedy was the result of a failed rocket launch by Islamic Jihad.

The circumstances surrounding the hospital attack remain controversial as global tensions escalate. (Camera: ABEDIN TAHERKENAREH).
