Pro-monarchy protesters stage rally in Nepal

Kathmandu, Apr 9 (EFE/EPA).- Nepalese police and protesters clashed on Tuesday after activists of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), a pro-monarchy party, tried to stage a demonstration at the restricted area of Singh Durbar building, where government's offices are located.

Activists demanded the restoration of the monarchy and Hindu state, as well as abolition of the federal system. (Camera: NARENDRA SHRESTHA).
