Press freedom continues to suffer setbacks in El Salvador, says Journalists Association

San Salvador, Jul 24 (EFE).- El Salvador has suffered setbacks in freedom of expression and of the press under the country's state of emergency, said the Association of Journalists of El Salvador (APES) on Monday.

The state of emergency was approved in March 2022 to combat gang violence and has been regularly extended over the past year. (Camera: VLADIMIR CHICAS).
