POPE AUDIENCE

Pope goes to Rome hospital for flu diagnostic tests

Vatican City, Feb 28 (EFE) - (Camera: Antonello Nusca) Pope Francis went to the Gemelli hospital on Tiber Island in central Rome on Wednesday to undergo "some diagnostic tests", after he explained on Wednesday that he still has a cold and had previously been reported to have the flu.

"After the general audience, Pope Francis went to the Gemelli Isola Tiberina hospital to undergo some diagnostic tests.

He then returned to the Vatican," the Vatican confirmed. Francis arrived at the centre in the vehicle in which he normally travels and returned to the Vatican less than an hour later.
