Political disqualifications in Venezuela, a growing sanction

Caracas, May 9 (EFE).- In Venezuela, the number of politicians disqualified from holding public office is increasing, with the most recent decision of the Comptroller General's Office to apply this sanction to five opponents, an action that Chavismo defends by calling for a “criminal action”, but which is considered by lawyer Juan Carlos Apitz as an act that affects the democratic system.
