Pilgrimage to El Ghriba synagogue resumes after two years of cancellations due to Covid

Djerba (Tunisia), May 18 (EFE/EPA).- (Camera: Mohamed Messara) The old synagogue of El Ghriba has resumed the pilgrimage after a two-year break due to the pandemic.

The historic Ghriba Synagogue is said to have been built by Jews fleeing the destruction of Solomon's temple in 586 BC.
