Philippines volcano activity continues

Daraga (Philippines), Jun 18 (EFE/EPA) - (Camera: Francis Malasing) The Mayon volcano continues to spew ash and lava in the province of Albay in the Philippines.

According to the latest report from the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) the eruption continues to show high levels of agitation and the authorities maintain the evacuation order for families living in the six-kilometre radius danger zone as a dangerous eruption could occur in a matter of days or weeks.
