Tehran, Jul 4 (EFE).- Iranians chose on Thursday between two different visions for their country in the second round of the presidential elections. Masoud Pezeshkian, the moderate candidate, wanted to open up the country, while Saeed Jalili, the ultra-conservative candidate, opposed Western influence.

This second round happened after both candidates received the most votes in the first round last Friday. This election had the lowest turnout in the 45-year history of the country, with only 39.9% of people voting. (Camera: JAIME LEÓN).
