Pets dressed in costumes are blessed by St. Lazarus in a church in Nicaragua-

Masaya (Nicaragua), Mar 17 (EFE) - 'Nikkita', a little Chihuahua dog, turned 15 years old and as a gift was presented this Sunday before Saint Lazarus, to ask him to keep her alive for many more years, her owner explained, during a visit to a church in southeastern Nicaragua as part of the festivities in honor of the apostle, venerated in this country as the saint of pets and protector of animals.
