Bogotá, May 1 (EFE).- The Colombian president, Gustavo Petro, insisted this Wednesday that his opponents seek to remove him from power through a coup d'état and assured that if that happens the people will take to the streets to defend democracy.STATEMENTS BY THE PRESIDENT OF COLOMBIA, GUSTAVO PETRO: If they are going to attempt a coup, they will face the people in the streets.
