St Petersburg metro disinfected to curb spread of coronavirus

St Petersburg (Russia), Feb 10 (EFE / EPA).- (Camera: Anatoli Malstev) Amid a wave of coronavirus infections and with the record number of more than 197,000 new daily cases registered on Thursday, Russia disinfects several times its urban transport fleet as part of the efforts to contain the spread of the virus. Despite contagions, the Kremlin has ruled out drastic measures such as confinements or the paralysis of economic sectors for the time being.
