40% of Peruvian gold exports are illegal, says police

Lima, Nov 20 (EFE).- Forty percent of Peruvian gold exports are illegal, the National Police of Peru (PNP) reported on Wednesday during a press conference with correspondents. The PNP announced plans to enhance collaboration with Colombia and Brazil to combat illegal mining.
