Peru, OEI promote reading in streets, public transport of Lima | Video

Lima, Jul 18 (EFE).- The Organization of Ibero-American States (OEI), with the support of the Peruvian Ministry of Culture, aimed to promote reading in the streets and public transport with a project presented Tuesday in Lima.

"What we aim to do with this project is to take literature beyond libraries and educational spaces (...) and make it as a social and cultural act," said the director of the OEI in Lima, Juan Carlos Ruiz, during the presentation of the project “Lectura en Movimiento en Lima” (Reading in Movement in Lima).
