Oviedo (Spain), Mar 28 (EFE).- (Camera:Paco Paredes) A man and a woman died this Thursday in San Esteban de Pravia and Cudillero (Asturias) after falling into the sea and being swept away by the waves, which can reach up to seven meters high on the Cantabrian coast. due to the effect of Storm Nelson. Both events took place around 1:00 p.m.; the first of them at the end of the breakwater located at the mouth of the Nalón River, in San Esteban de Pravia (Muros del Nalón), where a man who was contemplating the waves fell into the water and was dragged by the waves. This is a tourist of English nationality who had traveled with his partner to enjoy a few days of vacation in this municipality of Bajo Nalón, according to the mayor of Muros, Celestino Novo, who went to the breakwater to continue the rescue work.
