FRANCE ELECTIONS

Parisians go to polls for elections

Paris (France), Jun 30 (EFE/EPA) - An atmosphere of great anxiety could be perceived among voters who went to the polls Sunday in Paris by the consequences of the legislative elections in which the far right is clearly favored and could come to power for the first time in eight decades.

"I'm stressed because I'm afraid of what could happen after these elections," a voter, a naturalized French woman of African origin, told EFE outside a school in the X district of Paris, in a neighborhood with great social diversity.
