Paris FC offers free tickets to fans

Paris, Dec 15 (EFE).- (Camera: Edgar Sapiña Manchado) A growth of followers of 15% on social networks, more spectators at the Charlety stadium and a large sponsor. These are the first results that Paris FC, the capital club in the shadow of PSG, is obtaining after offering free tickets to all matches in the national championship.

"The brightest ideas are the simplest," legendary Brazilian soccer player Raí, who has been, since 2022, one of the investors of Paris FC, told EFE.

SOUNDBITES OF:

-PIERRE FERRACCI, PRESIDENT OF THE CLUB:

"There is no great economic risk, we are still in the second half, the income is modest in any case, although all the club's shareholders (including Raí) have agreed."

"It has become much more expensive, both when it comes to going to the stadium, and when it comes to accessing television. Even in second grade, family, young people and the unemployed cannot come."

"We will send a message to other clubs, not so that they make it free, but at least so that they lower their rates."

-RAI, BRAZILIAN FORMER FOOTBALL PLAYER AND TEAM INVESTOR:

"What we are going to stop earning with tickets, we will get from other sources."

"Football arouses global interest and there are many sources of resources. The public must be pampered."

-MOHAMMED, EDUCATOR OF THE EVRY FOOTBALL CLUB:

"This initiative has allowed Paris FC to attract a much larger audience. Thanks to this idea, we have managed to bring 35 children. It is a great idea."

"Surely other people who are not from the club will come, they may be even PSG fans and some who just want to come to see a show."
