Paris City Hall rules out selling the Parc des Princes to PSG

Paris (France), Sep 15 (EFE).- "The negotiations are paralyzed, today we do not want to sell the stadium, we have never wanted to do it," Paris City Councilor for Sports, Pierre Rabadan, tells EFE about the future of the Parc des Princes, PSG's coliseum.

1.-We have asked the club [referring to PSG] to resume talks, but so far they have not done so. I think they have responded to the offer to buy the Stade de France, so we don't know how things will evolve. But for the moment the talks are deadlocked. We are not selling the Parc des Princes, we never did, we heard the offer they wanted to make, which was ridiculously low, and so now we think there are other ways for the club to expand the stadium and find its development potential, but maybe not by buying the stadium, because at the moment the city is not selling that stadium. And for that to happen, we have to sit around a table and resume talks. And that is not the situation today.

We want [PSG] to stay at the Parc des Princes. We have always said it and we will always say it, PSG and the Paris club want them to stay at the Parc des Princes and there are conditions that will allow them to develop their ambitions and their business within the framework of a Parc des Princes that could be extended. But this requires a willingness to dialogue, which is not the case at the moment.
