Panama consults ambassador in Nicaragua over activities of asylum-seeker Martinelli

Panama City, April 22 (EFE). - The Government of Panama called on Monday its ambassador in Nicaragua for consultations due to the "flagrant and repeated" violation of international law by the Nicaraguan diplomatic representation in allowing former Panamanian President Ricardo Martinelli (2009-2014), who is seeking asylum there, to engage in "political-party actions".
